The Challenge
Strategic Employment Solutions is a Fort Worth firm guiding clients toward successful, meaningful, and sustainable employment. The team works with people across a range of abilities and backgrounds, offering Career Planning Assessments, Supportive Employment placements, Job Placement, Job Skills Training, Vocational Adjustment Training, and Work Experience Training. Their brand needed to reflect the empowerment-through-employment mission and meet every client with professionalism and warmth.
Marla Williams and the SES team came to us without a logo, a website, or any existing brand assets to build on. The goal was to create everything from scratch: a logo, a brand system, a responsive website, custom illustrations, business cards, and branded stationery. Marla had no background in design or web development. The whole project needed to move forward without putting that burden on her plate.

Our Approach
We started with the logo. The refreshed S mark uses curved, intersecting forms that suggest motion and connection, paths converging, lives moving forward. We grounded it in a navy and sage-green palette that reads as professional but never clinical, with light blue accents that keep the system warm. Custom illustrations of clients in working scenarios, intentionally featuring people of varying abilities, became the visual language across every touchpoint.
We built sesusa.net as a responsive website that works on every screen size, with clear pathways into each of SES's six services. The brand carries through to business cards, branded stationery, and custom greeting cards with the new illustration system on the front and the wordmark on the back. Marla didn't have to learn design or wireframing or asset prep. We handled the full process so the team could keep doing what they do best.

Custom illustrations featuring participants of varying abilities across real working scenarios.

Branded stationery: custom greeting cards and envelopes that carry the brand through every printed touchpoint.
Camry made revising our logo and website a piece of cake. Biggest upgrade for the business with the least amount of effort on our part.”
